Description
Strafe Run Boosting is the most common way of boosting in mw3, because the player can recieve 200k - 400k a game, and prestige in anywhere from 5 - 10 games. It revolves around pointstreaks, and destroying eachother's pointstreaks, and in search and destroy, the amount recieved for destroying a pointstreak is nearly x10

Requirements

• 4 players, all in the same party
  
• each player must have 2 controllers
  
• a basic knowledge on how to boost
  
• vault recording disabled, you can find this in your basic options at the xbox live menu

• 1st perk - blind eye
  
• 2nd perk - hardline
  
• 3rd perk - any

• assault - sentry gun

setting up the lobby
1. have all 4 players connect and sign in their 2nd controllers, ready to join a game
2. have the leader of the lobby invite 1 other person, while the other 2 people wait in their messages ready to accept the invite (there should now be 4 players in the lobby because of the second controllers)
3. have the leader of the lobby search for a team tactical game mode, keep backing out until you get a game with search and destroy
4. once your in the search pregame lobby, invite the other 2 players as fast as you can, you can do this easily by using the player menu (hit Y, or Triangle, and go over to xbox live pary (or Friends For PS3) and press X, or Square to invite them. this method is much faster than the old fashion way.
5. now your done, time to start boosting.



How To Boost

• each player must pick a partner on the other team. this will be their boosting partner. only 2 people will be boosting at a time, so having a system will help.
  
• each person will only boost half of the time. while you and your partner are not boosting, you will have to sit afk, and find something else to do for 20 minutes such as peting a cat, making cookies, or taking a poop.
  

1. once you have decided which two people are going first, its time to start boosting. for the first round, have each partner go to the enemy spawn, get three headshots on the afk players, and then plant and defuse the bomb.

2. for the second round, throw your sentry gun near where you guys decide to meet on the way to kill the other three players (killing these three players will be the first thing you do before calling in any killstreaks each round.) once each partner calls in their sentry guns, and destroys the other's, they should have a strafe run. have each partner call in their strafe run, and take out as many of the helicopters as you can. (if you have a stinger, you can destroy all 5 helicopters by shooting the very far one first, and then shooting the middle helicopter out of the remaining three.) destroying these strafe runs will result in having an assult drone. call in and destroy eachothers assult drone.

3. for each remaining round, kill the other three players on the other team, and call in and destroy as many killstreaks as possible before time runs out. once time is almost ran out, planting the bomb can reward you in an extra 40 seconds to call in and destroy killstreaks. never kill your boosting partner, because it will ruin his pointstreak, and you will have to sacrifice a round to build it back up again in most cases.

4. once the first group of partners are done boosting, it is their turn to sit afk, while the other 2 players boost just as they did the round before. sitting afk will also give your score per minute a chance to go down after rocketing up from boosting

if you repeat these steps, you should play all 7 rounds, and gain around 40,000 points around. you may have to improvise if the players don't have everything unlocked, but im sure you will get the hang of it in a couple rounds or so. the whole reason this works is because the player recieves 3000 for destroying an assult drone or sentry gun, and 16,000 for destroying an entire strafe run. if you have double xp, i recomend you use it while boosting.
