I am close to 6th prestige now and every prestige takes me about 14-15 hours without double xp, which is quite fast imo.
The way I do it is playing domination with like a 4 man party (enough people to win the game, but not too much to lose kills).
Use Hardline and specialist on every class and make sure every class unlocks a different perk first. U will complete a lot of challenges and you get a lot of bonuses.
Most importantly to level up fast though is just being a good player who knows what he is doing, make sure you cap every flag you can and try to get at least 30 kills a game.

To many variables to work with here, but if you have DOUBLE XP two modes TDM because it's only 3-4 minutes per match or SND because well it's search..LOL outside of that TDM or KILL CONFIRMED using specialist strike package and HARDLINE PRO for every 2 kills you get a bonus and it's like 200XP per kill something to that affect. Stay away from DOMINATION as it's like 8 minutes per match and your going to go through the double XP like water.

Concussion or Scrambler depends on game mode I use scrambler on domination to help my team out.
