(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have a new LS bought on eBay, with the "easy settings" of the PS3 net it doesnt work, "No ethernet wired", I cant connect psn.
With the settings I read here, the lagswitch doesnt do anything, if I push it down it doesnt cut my conexion to internet.
What have I done wrong?

The settings I use are the ones which are in this post:

Take a picture of the LS itself, if its cheaply made (Simple light switch connected) then you can probably fix it.. Really you can fix it if you can get to the bare wire itself.

If its a normal CAT5 ethernet cable then you need to check to make sure only the Orange wire is connecting through the LS. The rest of the wires should still be intact as normal.

The LS is this: You must login or register to view this content.
I think it's well maked, using the orange wire, can the problems have been caused by the PS3 settings?
If I use the setting I said, the LS doesnt do anything and if i use the "Easy settings", I can only connect PSN if I switch on the LS :S

Thank you.

You talkin to me?
You should have made your own, I made one with about €4 worth of materials,

You should be able to connect to psn, the idea is that you tap the lag switch with your foot for 0.5 or 1 seconds so the enemy lags,
they will appear to freeze making for an easy kill, you must be host for it to work.

I can never get host so I just did it for fun with friends in a private lobby.

The switch wont instantly cut your connection if you have a switching hub between your ps3 and the gateway/router.

Should be set up like this
PS3 -->[Lan Cable]Switching Hub --> [Lag Switch]Router

I am error
I don't want to steal your thread but I think I might buy one but am unsure whether it will work...

Instructions say: "You need to disconnect the cable that goes from your modem to your router and replace with the lag switch then connect your console to your router using the cable you unpluged"

I don't have a modem and a router.. I have a router only? Phone line into router, then cable to my pc and one to my ps3. Can anyone tell me if that would work or not? Cheers (please quote if you answer so i will know Happy)

Why shouldn´t it work? Seems to be a normal lag switch.
I take 10-base t half duplex in custom settings if i want to use my lag switch (i think i read this here on NGU)
