As many of you expressed concern on the timing and ability to redeem your Founder status, we decided to extend the deadline to December 13th, effectively extending it a full 30 days from the original Founders deadline of November 13th. Founder Status grants a variety of benefits for members, including an exclusive in-game title and emblem, a special weapon camo, access to private Founder competitions and prizing, Double XP boosts for clans and more. Plus, you’ll have bragging rights among the masses, letting them know you were there from the beginning. Becoming a Founder is a one-time thing and lasts for the life of your premium membership; so don’t pass up this last opportunity to be part of the club.

To become a Call of Duty ELITE Founder, all you need to do is activate a premium membership – either by subscribing to ELITE through the Xbox Live Marketplace or PlayStation Store, or by buying a redemption code through a traditional retail store – before that December 13 deadline, and you’ll get all your Founder entitlements in ELITE. For those that picked up a Hardened Edition copy of Modern Warfare 3 and have their ELITE code, there is no need to worry, as that will not expire and can be activated anytime. For everyone else, you only have a limited time to act – once the deadline passes, you won’t be able to obtain Founder status again. And we’d love to have you on board.
