When i play kill confirmed/tact insesrtion its just me. I dont have people helping me. I understand its hurts ur overall K/D, but it's only affecting me. My TDM k/D is 1.37. My overall is 1.25. I see how it does affect ur k/d, but again, who cares. When i play KC, i average about 13 kills and 20 deaths. Sometimes ill go .500 or better. I feel its not boosting when u play by urself, and ill continue to play as long as its not patched. Besides if they were to patch it, what would they do? take away tact insertion?

I don't think it matters if you play by yourself or that it only affects you (although dying repeatedly on purpose kind of affects your team). Boosting, in the most general term, is to exploit or go against the game's design to in order to achieve extra kills, xp etc. So it still sounds like a form of boosting. But I dgaf, its your time, spend it how you want.

"But I dgaf, its your time, spend it how you want" is the exact reason why u wont get banned from doing this. There are by far worse ways to boost, if its considered boosting.

I personally don't see as too much of an issue since you're only affecting yourself since the opposition won't benefit from collecting your tags.

However, there is the possibility that enemies are increasing their killstreaks on you, which of course would affect your team.

I don't think you would be banned for doing this, it's not as extreme as other forms of boosting. It's like a misdemeanor in boosting.


That's what I was kind of getting at. It may not directly affect the score because he's picking up his dog tags after he dies, but he's still giving free kills to the other team which will likely result in killstreaks that will cause your team mates to die more than they would have.

its when 8 people get in one lobby and they let eachother get killed like headshots and stuuf, on demo they keep planting and defusing the bomb giving them lots of xp

Thats what i figured. When i play with my group/clan members, i go for K/D. But when im by myself, i work on ranking up. It sounds selfish, but i can care less what my K/D is when im playing with random people in kill confirm. Any way, thanks for all the input.
