.... So I get a stat reset to level 1 and then they patch strafe boosting.... FMLLLLL! -.-'

However, 50k per match is still good.. just modify the process so everyone strafes every match and no-one goes over 50k

ouch and yeh off top of my head, 4 kills per round for 7 rounds plus plant/diffuse plus destroy full strafe run 1 sentry gun and 1 assult drone = 47k XP leaving room for the points u get for calling them in for the other player...

hotfix is almost just another word for patch. It means that Infinity Ward saw that the people where leveling too fast and on their eyes its a bad thing... thats why they wanted to stop it. Soooo, they made a change on the game which can only become active with a patch / hotfix.

What exactly is strafe run boosting?

Most probably wont include Challenge XP as you can get around 50k just from them if you do it right per game, say 300 kills with this gun 10k XP, so many kills with a proficiency 10k XP, so many wins a few K XP and so on, Ive had around 40k XP in a game so its possible to get 50K from challenges, then add game XP, wouldnt be fair to block the XP for that.
