Hell yea! You always should prestige, unless you feel yourself at the edge of quitting mw3, like if you feel that you won't manage one more, just stay 80 so in future when you'll want to play with friends or remind old times you'll play few matches on a good account.

I just instantly Prestige now whenever I reach max 80.

Reason being is that I always used to hesitate on previous CODs, I remember sitting at like 3rd prestige on COD4 for ages, same thing on W@W when I hit 2nd or 3rd, stayed there for like a month or two, and again on MW2. I eventually get tempted/bored and just do it anyway and then regret not working at it sooner since I could have been so much further ahead.

So far in MW3 the moment I hit 80 I just Prestige - only 4th so far but already way further ahead in time compared to any other COD I've played.

Exactly.. if you wait, you just waste xp and it will end up taking a lot more time. Especially if you complete veteran and prestige challenges.
