It's not a matter of being smart of not. Do you really think someone wouldn't throw a semtex at you? Especially if you're just a sitting target in the corner? People throw shit at you all the time when you use a riot shield, whether it be stun grenades, semtex, etc. Sorry dude but your statement is invalid

I think I understand what he means. I do something similar.
I get a 6man lobby 2 use shields and support killstreaks rest use assault killstreags and regular weapons , all tacs!
Example. Map Underground
We take the flag underground and watch both entrances. If somebody gets a jug he will be in the little room downstairs where you cant throw a semtex at him as we are protecting him.

Team Defender doesn't leave you much options , you will deal with alot of people waiting and not moving too much. Your only other option is to get the flag and then move around and your teammates will surely follow. Not sit in a corner and get barraged with flash bangs and Semtex and dual fmg9's(because we all know these are coming).
