(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); A lot has changed in MW3. One of those changes is player speed. In previous COD titles, you could add a perk that increased speed to your player. But in MW3, every player will run at the same top speed. There are proficiencies to deal with speed where guns lack it, but that does not change the top speed of a player. In the gameplay below, I used a Tac-Knife for the entire commentary. Although it was completely useable, I had to adjust to a very different play style. The thing is, I don't know if people will have the patience to use it. So will I still see people using the tactical knife? Or will it become one of those "prestigious" weapons that the average user stays away from (like the ballistic knife in Black Ops)?

I understand there is the "Juiced" deathstreak, but I have to die 4 times to get it. So not exactly a viable option.

Cake is a lie
Tac Knifing players are in the same league as most quick scopers.... Trolls who will go negative and only thing they do is killing you while you're one away from Pavelow or Osprey Gunner. They'll get this kill by making you the one guy out of 6 he successfully quick scopes, tac knives or kills with the Noob Bomber.

There are good quick scopers but face it most players suck with Type 95,MP7 type beast weapons so they're even worse with tac knife or rushing with Sniper rifle.

Tac knife players are usually scrubs trolling your high killstreaks because they culd care less about dying 3 times as much as they kill ans Support will give you an Stealth Bomber for putting the game in your console...

Well, there's a balance to be had. IW couldn't make the knife too powerful; the community expressed their hate for Commando, so I think that was removed just because of it's bad repuation. Lightweight was less removed, and more just forgotten. Marathon was just reduced...but with the size of the maps I hardly find myself running out of sprint stamina, so that perk isn't missed much.

People should only be able to knife using the Tac Knife. It's retarded when people can insta-kill by pressing a button when close enough. You should at least have to have the knife in your hand (like the Tac Knife) instead of being able to pull it outta nowhere and kill people with it. Taking out the knife takes less than a second, which is ridiculous.

That's an interesting perspective. I remember how in COD2 there was actually no knife, and you had to hit them with the butt of your gun. Without the knife, we'd probably resort back to something like that.
