What game mode were you in? are you sure you didn't take a care pack or anything?

If you were in drop zone Killstreaks are disabled.

I was playing Ground War. I wasn't paying attention until I got a 29 killstreak, no care packages or killstreaks. Then I was like, why didn't I get a moab? It even says i got a 31 kill streak on my leaderboard which is only based of with your guns...

Does it have to be constant? Because I used 1 predator missle and got 1 kill. My friend said that gun streak HAS to be constant and no killstreaks can interrupt it or else it will reset the moab streak

I have no idea why you didn't get a moab. Maybe it was a glitch or something? Are you sure you didn't use any killstreaks. Maybe you got killed but you forgot or didn't notice? I have no idea but maybe it does not count if you blow up a car or a barrel and maybe you did one of those. And no it does not have to be constant.

Maybe you were in a gamemode which disabled .

I think leaderboards might occasionally get bugged. I got 2 AC-130's on Resistance (5-7-12 twice) without dying. My leaderboard said I got a 26 killstreak, but I'm not entirely sure I actually got 26 kills with a gun, since I was using the MSR.

Okay, here's how it happened I USED a predator missile and killed ONE person but i was still on my gun streak. I asked my friend why I didn't get it and he said no killstreaks can interrupt or else it will start the nuke streak all over. is this true?
