Saw something similar on another post. Does the first bullet still work? If so you may actually be able to use this glitch to fire at a faster rate with sigle file weapons like the mk. Instead of holding down the shot, press the trigger like you would to shot. but ous should be able to use it faster. at least that is how it worked in the other glitch i saw.
