BUT what if its all bullshit? what if they cant do anything? So I decided to buy like 6 days of double xp just to see and just incase nothing happens if you abused the glitch you abused might as well use it to your advantage while you can if anything happens your getting the punishment too, and it is a GLITCH not a exploit when other large companys have these simple mistakes people abuse them or use them to there advantage like crazy Apple had a small incident where on the back of the giftcard it said songs are $0.99 there was a huge class action lawsuit about it just because they didnt change it to $1.29 anyways I doubt shits going to happen IW is gonna pretend they care and in a few months theyll dump us again


Also remember the gold gun glitch in BO? Where you had w/e gun you wanted and had it gold at any level? That was a unfair advantage I remember being level 12 with a gold AK what happened? Nothing so many did that harmless glitch all that happened was that they reset your classes now im just babbling if you read this far good job (y)

1. Why would it be bullshit?
2. They CAN and WILL ban people for exploiting the game
3. This is an EXPLOIT as stated by 402 (look at his twitter) (Just because NGU put it in the glitch section doesn't mean its correct)
4. Apple/Treyarch are different companies from IW and they handled their situations differently
5. Bans/Resets will most likely happen to everyone but a lucky few who go under their radar

And if I remember rightly the black ops class glitches did infact get your classes reset, so they do actually take action now.

And as you said, yes it is actually a glitch but it's an exploit, a glitch is any glitch until it is released and once lots of people start doing it that's when it becomes an exploit .Prestige tokens is clearly exploiting the game, just because it's there, doesnt mean you have to do it, people who did it were fully aware that it would give them an advantage, therefore "exploiting" the glitch.

And to the guy above me... Are you being serious :dumb:
The percentage of players who did the glitch is only a very tiny percentage of total players, no where near 50%, probably not even 5%. There proportion of Legit players is huge compared to the glitchers

I have a feeling this glitch, could quite be unpatchable. This sounds stupid to say, but it was out there for a while. And it exponentially grows. A friend tells a friend and that friend tells another. It is out of hand, but it might be swept under the rug. Your guess is as good as mine.

It is extremely easy to patch.


Oh and to the guy who said that %50 of COD players will be getting banned for this, please just stfu.
Once IW has your money from you buying the disc, they don't give a **** if they have to ban a couple thousand people.
The only people they might just give 3 day bans are Premium Elite users.
