I have to quit and start another game. I reinstalled the 4.0 firmware and the 1.07 patch reformatted the HDD and rebuilt it and nothing its still freezing up. So I thought maybe it has something to do with my internet so I hardlined my modem to my ps3 bypassing the router and still nothing. I've been having this problem for a little over a week and have been looking everywhere online but can't find anything. I spoke with ps support and they couldn't give me any answers except to send my ps3 in and have them look at it for $99. So then I sent messages to 402 and IW hoping to get an answer and havn't heard anything back yet. Any help with this would be much appreciated as I am about to rip my f*cking hair out!:FU:

I haven't had any issues with this, but one time while playing MW2 I had straight 1bar connection for a whole week, turns out I just had to reset my modem.

Maybe the disk has been scratched or something?
