This is kind of difficult if you are connected to the internet via wired.

So what you do is find a friend that is hard for you to connect to (like it'll give you an error saying "Unable To Connect To Host")
After you've gotten the error you'll be in an odd looking party and your second controller would have dissapeard.
Now click the find match tap, core, FFA and both controllers will be in lobby

Im not sure if this works for Xbox because as of right now i dont have live, so test it out you guys
