OK, so I've heard several things pertaining to this question, and I really have no idea what is true.
The question is- Is the amount of Experience Points (XP) I get per kill, go towards my weapons XP?
Ex. Say you play domination and get 6 kills (no bonuses (headshots, longshots, challenges etc) ) you would get 300 XP.
I'm very certain that would go towards your weapons XP, which makes sense.
HOWEVER,
Going off and playing Search and Destroy (I usually get 7-8 kills per game on a pretty good game) but it doesn't seem as though Im getting 3500-4000 XP... Kinda disappointing.
Your thoughts? Proof?

I've messed around with double weapon xp. All weapon challenges give the same amount of xp example 10k isn't 20k. The only difference is your gun will level up twice as fast. The xp will be applied to your gun not in game stats. Example kills in domination will all be applied to double xp not weapon xp.
