What it does - This highly under rated piece of equipment is one of my favorites. It blocks 2 shots of almost anything grenades/ac130/flashes/pred missles
Best Used - This equipment is very good for game types where you have to stay in a location for a long time. Works very good in drop zone put one of these in your drop zone and watch the grenades they chuck at you disappear if you have team mates who are all using this and setting it up around a domination flag or a drop zone you'll see a big improvement in your objective based gameplay.
Equipment Rating - 9/10 Highly recommend using this It's great for when someone calls in a stealth bomber over head just set one of these down and chill.
Unlock Level - 45 (wouldn't use a token since 45 is pretty early in the prestige)[multipage="Portable Radar"]Hello welcome to the first of my series of threads for equipment everyday i'll talk in detail about a different equipment and how I feel good it is bad etc.. where it shines and so on.

What it does - Anywhere you place it puts a small circle around the map and gives you radar in that spot. Also it "beeps" when someone walks into your circle of radar. Letting you know someone has come into your area.
Best Used - Best time to use a portable radar is for objective games where you know where enemies are heading but don't know when they'll be there.
Examples - Domination (flags) CTF (either flag) Sabotage (bomb plants) SND (bomb plants) etc.. GREAT FOR TEAMS BECAUSE EVERYONE CAN SEE THE RADAR SPOT MORE YOU HAVE MORE RADAR
Equipment Rating - 10/10 (personally favorite equipment I see no reason why it shouldn't be used)
Unlock Level - 77 Recommendation - I highly Recommend using 1 prestige token to unlock this at level 4 it helps so much in every objective gametype

Today's equipment - Emp Grenade
What It Does - When you throw it it disables any enemy equipment or electronics in that area (radar,killstreaks etc..)
Best Used - This equipment is great for when an enemy has an assault drone/sam turret/sentry turret and you want to get rid of it just throw one of these at it and it'll get the job done. It's also great for if your protecting an objective throw one of these when you see an enemy take out his radar for a short time and go kill him. He won't know what hit him.
Unlock Level - 21 (Do Not Unlock with Token 21 is very early in the prestige)
Equipment Rating - 8/10 - Not the best equipment but it does have it's advantages like taking out assault drones like a joke also good for taking out sentry guns and sam turrets.

Today's Equipment - Bouncing Betty
What It Does - When placed on the ground when someone walks close enough to it. It will be set off and explode. (To Avoid this lay down you'll almost always live)
Best Used - Objective Gametype's where you know the enemy will eventually go SND Plant one of these inside the bomb where you planted it odds are they try to defuse they'll watch themselves explode. Better then a claymore in this example because the red light can be seen. CTF great for placing on the flag for when fast runners try to grab and run out they'll find themselves in pieces and having no flag. Great for placing on all flag sites/bomb sites in all gametypes that support flags/bombs.
Unlock Level - Lvl 37 (very early highly recommend not unlocking) (it's personal preference though)
Equipment Rating - 5/10 (honestly I feel the claymore out ranks the betty in everyway. While it's true it's 360 while the claymore is 1 direction. The bouncing betty seems to be a lot weaker damage wise. And the fact you can just lie down and live completly under powers this equipment.

Today's Equipment - Claymores
Best Used - These work great in all bomb planting gametypes Sabotage/SND/Demolition Place the bomb facing outward directly on top of the bomb after it's been planted it will be completly inside the bomb and you won't be able to see it. Then laugh when someone trys to defuse and they blow up Placing them on top of flags in domination + ctf (your home flag) can prove to be very helpful because it stops the fast "flag runners" in ctf while also stopping people from jumping on objectives as a team and taking them fast.
Unlock Level - 54 Personally I feel that these are very good and are a lot better then betty's if you enjoy blowing shit up (I would use a prestige token lvl 54 is kinda far in the prestige)
Equipment Rating - 9/10 The claymore is a lot better then the betty because it's a lot harder to escape also it has more damage from what I've seen then the betty. Bottom line if you enjoy blowing up shit there's no reason you shouldn't be running around placing these at tatical spots such as routes to objectives or on the objectives themselves.
