I could care less about consoles since I don't make any money off of them but there is no way this is fair. I understand the DLC deal xbl gets and I am perfectly okay with PS3 users having to wait a month. I will edit the dates of DLC for the four tiers of COD gamers when they are verified.
My thread is NOT a console debate. It's a are Activision out of their ****ing mind debate? I despise guys who do the, "Battlefield is god, COD sucks, lets rage against establishment" jargon since it's littered with bitterness and wishful thinking.
I enjoy COD. I play other games but FPS, this is my game. I have little issue with the actual game. However,Activision gets MILLIONS from Xbox 1 month exclusive deal. $60 USD per game a year from Xbox AND PS3 users. $15 USD a map pack from Xbox AND PS3 for DLC that usually comes out 3 times in that game's cycle. Now they get 49.99 USD from Elite Premium users on both consoles???? Even with the exclusive deal with MS. And the BILLIONS of dollars every console gives them,not even dedicated servers? Wow.
They were already getting money from MS and all of us buying their game and their DLC, now they find away to get MORE money from PS3/Xbox users. Yet we still don't have dedicated servers or an equal playing field? Why couldn't the month DLC deal XBL got be good enough? FML

To tell you the truth, I really don't have a clue why you are angry about this.
We are actually saving a lot of money for buying Elite, and we are getting a lot more than just simple map packs with it as well.
Now I own a Xbox and PS3, and what I can't understand is why do I have to buy Elite twice?
Why can't I just buy Elite one time and link both my PSN and XBL account? That's what puzzles me.
For everyone saying you can, you actually can't. If you link both accounts, only one of those accounts is premium, not both...

If regular PSN and regular XBL users wait two weeks after they normally would that'd be fine. Ex:non premium xbox 2 week wait. Non premium PS3 6 week wait. If that is the case,then that's okay.
Who cares about saving $5-$15 bucks over the course of a year if you still have to wait 2-3 months to actually play the DLC? That's like saying I will sell you Modern Warfare 3 for $45 but you have to wait two months to play it. You'd just fork over the $15 most likely.
