No, you'll be put into any lobby regardless of rank. But lately I've noticed that I'm being put into local lobbies in my region.

No this game is designed when it's searching for lobbies it first finds a good connection then it branches off to local automatically there is no option for it. I often play with people in my state and even my city. I think the main reason for this is because obviously it's going to be a better connection if I'm playing with someone in my city rather then in fucking Ethiopia.

I have to agree with this. I think it goes off your rank in the playlist + your prestige and level.

Because i'm ranked 7k in domination and I play with people in the top 4k - top 1k all the time. Then again I almost never see 9th prestige's but I think it's just rare but I usually am put up against high ranked people in domination.
