(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Many people have been wondering the quickest way to get to Lvl 31 for each weapon. We all know that Lvl 30 takes the longest and it literally takes the same amount of time to get from Lvl 30-31 as it did to get from Lvl 1-30. Using Double Weapons Xp is a huge help, but not everyone has prestige tokens laying around. So here are a few tips to get you gun to Lvl 31 in the quickest way possible:

1. Use the Weapon Continuously -This is obvious if you want to Lvl your weapon. The more kills you get with the gun, the faster it will Lvl.

2. Play Ground War or TDM - Ground War contains 18 players (9v9) and has two game modes, Domination and Team Deathmatch. Since there are more players in the game, you will end up getting more kills. This is an obvious plus because the more kills you get, the more Xp you get for your gun. If you don't like to play Ground War, play Team Deathmatch. Even though the games end fast, you get 100xp per kill and sometimes get 100+ depending if you got a payback or stopped a player from getting a killstreak, etc. Ground War seemed to work more effectively for me and that is what I play to get my guns to Lvl 31 the quickest.

3. Use Specialist Streaks -Using the specialist streaks is a huge help. It gives you a better advantage in giving you more perks, making you unstoppable in a gun battle. Specialist also give you more Xp every other kill helping you level quicker. Not only does specialist give you extra perks and Xp, but it will help you focus more on getting kills with your weapon than using your killstreaks. Specialist is the way to go.

4. Complete all challenges for your Weapon (Most effective) - There are many attachments in the game that many of us don't like, but if you want to Lvl your gun quickly, you have to use them! Go into Barracks>Primary Weapons and find the gun that you are working on. The Marksman, Expert, and Mastery Challenges are completed by constantly using the gun and getting kills, giving you a massive amount of Xp towards your weapon. Now come the attachment challenges. You will see a bunch of attachment challenges that should be completed to effectively Lvl up your weapon. Each challenge you complete will give you between 750-1000 Xp which is a great amount to get in one shot! I recommend using Bling proficiency so you can use two attachments at the same time. Check back every game to see what you completed.

5. Get a Good Team (Demolition/Headquarters)(Optional) - Having a great team will give you the better advantage. If you play with a good team, play either Demolition or Headquarters. These game modes last very long and don't rely on kills ending the game. For Demolition, you will have to try and spawn trap and play logical, trying to make the game last longer, therefore getting more kills. (Let one Bomb Plant blow up so the time extends). For Headquarters, you will just play normally and own the hell out of the other team. The score limit is 400 points and the time limit is 20 minutes. Once again, try to make the game last longer by having your team acquire about 350 points and then letting the other team match your points making the game much longer.

6. Search and Destroy (Not confirmed) - S& is a great game type for getting XP. You get 500xp a kill and 1000xp for a headshot. Now some people have stated that when you get a kill in search and destroy, the 500xp goes to your gun as well. Others say that only 50xp goes to you gun. I am not sure which statement is correct so we will have to test and see. (Will update when it is confirmed)

7. Dropzone - This is also another great game type for getting kills. The objective for Dropzone is to go to the zone on the map and hold the area for care packages. Every 20-30 seconds a care package drops for the player/team that was in the zone. In this game mode, you will want to sit back and just wait for enemies to go in the zone. I recommend camping away from the zone, still close enough to kill the enemies running to the area. If you camp in the zone, then you will most likely die by grenades. This is a pretty effective strategy, as long as you play smart. (Great game mode to get sniper levels up)

I personally have 6 Gold Weapons (Acr, Striker, Mp7, L118A, G36c, PP90M1) I have figured out these tips by just trying new and different ideas, and I feel these work the most effective. If you have any other ideas, feel free to reply and I might add them to this guide.

Personally I have 9 Gold Guns
MP7, KSG-12, USAS-12, M4A1, P90, SPAS-12, PKP Pecheneg, AA-12, and Model 1887
I simply just played Drop Zone the past three days. Since Friday I've gotten Gold on the M4A1, P90, SPAS-12, PKP Pecheneg, AA-12, and Model 1887.
But then again this is considering that I already had all of these guns between Lv 28~30 (because I unlocked all attachments for every weapon except AS50, RSASS, and, MSR as priority when I became 10th Prestige), with the exception of Model 1887 which I leveled up from 7~31 in a few hours.

My next Gold Goals are ACR, SCAR-L, PM-9, M60E4, and Striker

This will help out the ones that are still a little confused on the best ways to level up your guns. :y:

But, also remember that Specialist will help rank up your regular level but NOT your guns. Your gun xp ONLY comes from the kills you get with it.

That's incorrect. You only get 50xp per kill with your gun, regardless of the gamemode.

wow it seemed to me I got 10-15 kills each game with the MSR it got from 15-27 in only 5 games no challenges done

Really? You must have been having a ton of fun then :p but I saw a youtube video somewhere where they confirmed that you only get 50xp per game. So I don't know exactly how it all works out...but yeah :p

It feels like you only get 50 gun xp, but I only play search and by level 40ish I'll have a gold gun and possibly two. You just gotta get consistant. I'll get 10-20 kills every game for a day, be level 50+, with two gold guns. Consistancy is key in search..

Kill confirmed is pretty much the same as domination when it comes to gun xp. When you pick up a dog tag, that xp goes to your player level, not you guns. So you are basically getting 50xp a kill for your weapon, the same as domi :y:
