Personally I think shotguns are pretty sh!t in MW3, then again I haven't played with them on the Xbox 360 update (buff against all shotguns except striker). What are your guys opinions on shotguns in MW3? What's your favorite and why? I mean lets face it, I don't think a shotgun is gonna get a hitmarker point blank in real life. I think it would shred a person's limb off. (I realize it's a video game)

Favorite: AA-12 w/ Damage
Why?: It wrecks face and plus it's automatic, but it can get some pretty hefty hitmarkers.

all of them are still weak compared to what they would do in real life but hey i'm on ps3 so could change in a little while though

Yeah agreed I'm about sick a tired of the PS3 being the little man when it comes to Call of Duty.

USAS (Range or Damage)... It is effective on smaller - medium maps (Even some large maps if you are really good with this gun.) and can be pretty fun use. If you don't like having to make drop shots though this might not be the gun for you. Its full auto but doesn't shot so fast that you lose all your ammo in two clips. Also make sure you have a decent secondary. I personally use duel wield scorpions. If you want to know more about my strategy and why I can make this gun work just ask and I will further discuss it.

Wow you actually like the USAS? Personally I think that's the worst gun in the game besides the PM-9, I guess it's your preference but I get hitmarkers all the time with that gun.

It's never the gun. It's how you use the gun. Maybe what it takes to get a good KD with the USAS doesnt fit your gaming style. For me I like close corner combat. Getting those one shot one kills with USAS is how I roll. lol This isnt a gun you can run around like a maniac with. You have to take it slow, but at the same time know when its a good time to rush.

2. On topic, my favb shot gun is the Model. If you know how to coordinate your fingers right to drop shot and shoot the models at the same time, it is pretty beast.

I'm pretty decent with shotguns since I've been playing CoD for around 4 years now. I'm a pretty good player all around but the USAS just doesn't cut it for me, I understand where your coming from but I don't know, that gun is something else.

Shotguns? Pshh, my beebee guns do better.
