Are the strikers still the overpowering shotgun, or is there another shotgun pushing itself up to the top? Assume all shotguns have damage/range fixed on them.

Also, what do you think is the worst?

I can rape face with the USAS with Damage. The range is really far and damage drop off isn't that bad. I can rape even harder with the AA-12 Damage at a closer range.

Worse? I can't tell yet. I need to level the other shotguns up (they're seriously fun from sniping and general automatic guns) SPAS is pretty mediocre with Damage because I still get hitmarkers from a "long range for a shotgun" range.

Ok, so having gotten every Shotgun level 30+, trying Range and Damage on each, also getting gold on the USAS, SPAS, Striker and the Model 1887 I can say (IMO) that:

Best - Pre-patch, it was the Striker. But now, I have to say the USAS12, the range and damage is pretty good without anything on it, and Damage + Ext. Mags makes it a beast up close and pretty good out to a good range to.

Worst - IMO, its the AA12, yes its got a good fire rate and kill pretty quickly up close, but the range on it sucks. Even with Ext. Mags and Damage/Range its not the best. You could argue that the Model 1887 is the worst, but its actually pretty good once you get Damage on it. Also, the SPAS isn't the best at first, but when you also put Damage and Ext. Mags, its also a really good gun.

There you go, just what I think.

usas is pretty nice. can wait until i can get some decent profs on it.

SPAS-12 FTW. Been using it since mw2. All attachments in mw2. Gold in black ops. Gold in mw3. Legendary gun, not even noob and looks nice.

USAS is my favorite, it has a decent fire rate and still gets me those OHKs, and I don't even have damage yet.

The 1887 is the coolest of the shotguns though, the western look, the animation... It's probably the sexiest gun in the game.

Worst shotgun award goes to AA-12 in my book, it's the only shotgun I haven't gotten to lvl 30 and never will. It's just not my style, and now that after patch it's even weaker I see no reason to use it.

Striker still. Love that SG. All you gotta do is spam the trigger hipfiring with Steady Aim

Put Range on it and it gets even better.
