(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey, I just got a new pair of TB P11s and was wondering what would be better. Dead silence or Sitrep Pro?

And any tips on using the headset to it's full capability.

It comes with the manual that shows you how to connect to an HDMI and AV. There's an extra step involved I believe.

dead silence imo, once u get used to soundwhoring you can pin point where people are. plus sitrep pro doesnt really cancel out dead silence, since u basically need complete silence on the map without gunfire, ks, ect ect going off to hear the faint dead silence footsteps.

I use Specialist so when I get all perks, the footsteps are more audible and easier to pinpoint whether footsteps are coming from the left or right on the P11. The only drawback of the P11 is that it doesn't have Surround Sound. It is somewhat hard to discern whether the footsteps are coming from the front or the back. When I'm running it sounds that my footsteps are coming behind me. Another would be it's low-end performance. Not much bass. A tip would be to find the right volume where you can hear footsteps but not loud enough all that most of what you hear would be the blasts.

The cheapest Trittons are $80 compared to the P11's which are $60. I did think about the trittons but read reviews/suggestions and decided on the P11s. I really can't spend $100+ on a headset, as much as i'd like too.

Well when reading the two perks, Dead Silence makes your footsteps quieter. Does that help with sound whoring or is more as protection compared to Sitrep Pro increasing footsteps sound making sound whoring easier (assuming).

Dead silences does help, since u don't have ur footsteps causing noise so you can move around swiftly while still being able to hear footsteps whether they be friend or foe. Sitrep does have that increased level of footstep sounds but u will hear both ur teammates and enemies, unless of course they have dead silence on. If you play a lot of objective modes i would highly recommend dead silence over sitrep since no one really uses claymores/bettys ect. but if you do play more snd or hardcore modes, sitrep would be my choice to use, mainly to see claymores.
