Really as follows is what I would love to see.

GameModes:

• Infected to be Revamped as a part of the Playlist, that's not ranked but has its own special T+E, XP Bonuses as such.
  
• Old School Mode from CoD4, I freaking loved this game mode when I was frustrated or needed a break, it has some good memories to it and miss it!
  

• Zombies that was like the Zombie Mod on Mw2.
  
• Basically all in all a completely new playlist that's like "Community Playlist" where all the game modes that you would want to play with others, Gun Game, One in the Chamber etc
  

Maps:

• Aswell as new maps of course, I want to see some old school favorites.
  
• Bloq, Crossfire, District, these are just some of the maps I loved to play.
  
• As for Mw2, Terminal, Highrise, Favela were all great maps that were greatly enjoyed.
  
• Maybe some W@W, Blops? Why not, would be cool.
  

Events:
By events i mean like what "Bungie" did with Halo 3/Reach, yeah i know, completely different games but it can be done, more frequently have for example:
Double XP Weekends
Shotgun only TDM
Shottys and Snipers
Dome 24/7
and more..

Just a few ideas that i though would be cool to spice up CoD every once and a while.

Theres plenty more to cover but I am typing from my iPhone so I will edit later with some more topics.

In the end, I guess I expected more from this Mw3, it's a great game and I enjoy playing it, but I feel as though much more was anticipated, then what was delivered.

Please post your thoughts, comments and what you were hoping would be released.

I would love to have Infected in the playlist but the only problem is with the hiding spots and more glitches will be known.

Yes I feel the gun selection compared to Mw2 is not as satisfying but it wasn't horrible either.

Very good point but I would rather a game with no glitches then a game that you have to find this guy sitting in a wall or something, just my opinion

They can't have gun drops as DLC.
If they did, of course not everyone would buy them, & if someone with the DLC died (while equipped w/ a DLC weapon), & someone WITHOUT the DLC came up to their corpse, how would IW keep them from picking it up? I'm sure they could code it somehow, but I'm not sure.

I'd like to see CoD4 maps, that's about it, any map from CoD4 would be satisfying for me, that's my favorite CoD of all.

So, yeah, I don't really think gun DLC is an option unless they have a way of separating the DLC guns from the users without anything downloaded.

If they actually listened to us & cared about the game instead of bringing out the same old sh*t map packs.. Cod could be better.

But nope.. they have it planned out.. Release new cod game with shame sh*t.. never fix the problems.. after a few months release some crap maps. make some money & move onto the next cod.

Yes haha, it would be a nice idea but I don't think IW or CoD on general would be putting DLC weapons in the near future
Just like you said balance would also be an issue with paid users and so on, also unlike Assassins Creed or Battlefield, where bonus content/purchased content would simply either not show on fallen foe or not be able to pick up in time from large maps, its safe to say IW doesn't have that sort of control just yet.

Indeed, I think if they do end up putting gun DLC into the game they'd have to make sure the guns are balanced along with the normal guns. And I'm sure there are gonna be people who're gonna be against the guns because nothings EVER balanced (sarcasm).
