I just dont see why everyone is hating Robert Bowling (fourzerotwo)

People keep saying he didnt keep his promises to Mw3.


But what people do not see is he is not the Creator he is a "Community Strategist"
-- He takes what WE want and then tells it to the creators"
Bowling may think its good and say he will make it in the game, but the CREATORS may not like OUR ideas and not put it in.

Bowling is just a voice to express US and send to the creators.
He is practically a PA system.


So if he does not create the game how is it his fault that the game fails in my areas.

How exactly did you come to this conclusion? Unless you know the man personally you can't exactly say hes the pinnacle of today's man. Honestly, given how much money he makes of the CoD series for answering some questions, I think anyone would have transcended over the usual flamers and just stay collected, regardless of the situation. Most people hate him because he is an easy scapegoat and they don't know any better. I don't care for the guy myself but it is infuriating to see him purposely ignore legitimate concerns and only reply to the same regurgitated questions.

The minute people hear a name, they will namedrop every chance they get. Whether that is praise or hatred.

Same happen with Black Ops and the JD 20_20 guy. COD has millions of players, so honestly it's not like he could even please 1/4 of the players regardless. It's really a catch 22. People find something to nitpick or complain about regardless. If MW2 didn't have noobtubes and OMA, then we would have complained about deathstreaks and some other random issue.

The guy doesn't literally create the game. I mean half of the community wanted smaller maps for less camping(as if that will ever go away), now the other half complains the maps are too small and how certain guns are "overpowered."

Every current COD "sucks" and the last one was "good" is the motto here. The people who hated Black Ops were praising MW2. Now the people who hate MW3 are praising Black Ops...It's a vicious cycle.

Thanks for making this post. Imma just put out my opinions on this...

I don't like 402, but I certainly respect him (there's a difference). IMO, he kinda screwed himself over putting himself in such a hated and vulnerable position, having thousands of people swearing and hate-tweeting him daily. But hell, he's doing what he loves and you gotta respect the man for that. If you go on his Twitter, he's actually trying to do the best he can, trying to answer (non-douchebag) tweets and most of all, he's proud and happy with what he's doing. And to the person who says he's the community punching bag, well yeah he is but not entirely-- he fights back to the guys swearing at him calling him a fag, and that's not what punching bags do. He's taken so much shit for things that aren't even his fault (think about waking up one morning, hopping on Twitter then realizing overnight there were a thousand tweets calling you a fag), and it's amazing to me that he still is being one hell of a community strategist. And that to me is what matters most.

black ops was shitty and would never praise that game.

I do not dilike 402 either. Whenever I am mad about flaws of the game, it is at the actual creators.

What I love most about 402 is he even replies to the tweets where people curse him out and is always so "cool. calm. and collected." about them. Lol
