(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This is a very short and simple way to tell if your host in Mw3.

This is due to bullet lag, and we can use this to tell if we are host.

Tut:

1. Get in a game mode of your choice.

2. Once the game mode has started choose your class and wait for it to start

3. When you can walk around freely hold the reload button (X/[]) and then shoot! (Must have fully automatic weapon!)

If you only shoot one bullet and then reload, then you are host. If you shoot 2+ bullets then you are not host. (You don't actually shoot more then 1 bullet, if you look bottom right, it shows you are only missing one bullet, but it shows more then one coming from the barrel of your gun)

This ways work for any Call of Duty and has been thoroughly tested on all types of connections over the years of my experience.

I know there are other ways of telling if your host, but this is absolute full proof and works 100% of the time on all CoD's.

Please reply below if you need any help. - Thanks

What if the host also happen to have a perfect connection ? Winky Winky

It doesn't matter you will always receive bullet lag if your not host. Unless your on the same connection in the same house as the host, i suppose under these extreme circumstances then yes it would not work.

That's the easiest way to tell :y:
But I guess you can use this as insurance? I remember back in CoD4 if you opened the lobby you were the host. Then migration and other things began happening in WaW.
