You can use this thread to either become a successful booster or prevent boosting. But seeing as this is the MW3 Boosting forum, I know what you guys will choose. Winky Winky

Boosting Spots on MW3

Boosting is getting more and more popular when it comes to ranking up on Modern Warfare 3. Boosters will look for small areas on the outskirts of the map (sometimes inside), places in which you don't visit often.

Basics - What are boosters?

Boosters are friends/acquaintances that trade kills with one another. Typically, a pair of boosters will join a Free For All game together. They will then find an obscure location on the map so that they aren't interrupted or seen by anyone. Here's how the process usually works:

Booster A will set down his Tactical Insertion.
Booster A will let Booster B kill him.
Booster A will respawn.
Booster A will set down his Tactical Insertion again.
Booster A will let Booster B kill him again.
This process repeats until Booster B has won the game or earned a MOAB.

Let's get started!

Arkaden

Arkaden has a number of spots that players in FFA rarely look at or visit. The most notable spot is behind the counter at Burger Town, which is down the elevators and to the right.

Bootleg

As you may have already noticed, the majority of boosters on Bootleg tend to use the top half of the map because it provides more nooks and crannies.

Carbon

Carbon is a map that has tonnes of winding stairways and obscure areas. For instance, if you take a look at the bottom right of this map, you'll see that some boosters will do their evil deed underneath the stairway. Others will use the small inlet at the end of alley at the top.

Fallen

Fallen is a pretty large map. One of the most popular areas on this map is the alleyway at the top, which is full of overgrown grass and hedges.

Hardhat

Thankfully, it is difficult for boosters to boost on Hardhat because of how small it is. However, I would pay extra attention to the small wooden shack (without the roof) at the top of the map.

Interchange

Although Interchange is one of the largest maps on MW3, it doesn't hold a lot of low-traffic areas. One area of note is the bus that you can walk into. Most of the spots on this map force the boosters into lying prone.

Lockdown

As you can see, the spots in Lockdown are in areas that rarely get looked at.

Mission

Particular attention should be given to the overgrown passway that connects the bottom and the top of the map.

Resistance[/size]

Resistance only has a few areas that aren't looked. Be sure to check the house in the middle.

Village

Village is one of the larger MW3 maps. One of the most popular boosting spots on this map is the red dot shown on the bottom left hand corner. Boosters will hide beside the wooden shack there.

Seatown

There are three particular areas that you should pay attention to on Seatown. The first one is the bottom of the staircase shown on the bottom left hand corner of this map. The second one is the small nook in beside the steps that lead into the central courtyard. The final spot is on the bottom floor of the building at the bottom right corner. It's in behind the counter.

Underground

On Underground, the most popular boosting area is in the subway itself. If you go down into the subway, you will find a small room on the side. Usually, one of the boosters will be sitting on top of the bookshelf in the corner. Also be sure to check inside the trains and underneath the platforms.
