Tacs are very useful. When rushing, you can just put one near the enemy spawn.

Also, they give second chances in the right situations. Suppose you see a few enemies around a corner on your minimap. Plant your tac at the corner, then jump out and spray at them. If you get killed, just spawn fast and jump out at them again (without putting your tac down). They will NOT expect it, and you will probably not get killed.

If you're a prestiger, I highly suggest unlocking the tactical insertion early, so you always have it through future prestiges.

It is really helpful on Drop Zone. & I only use my tactical insertion when I go for feeds

I love them, put them in the middle of the map so when the spawns change i dont have to run all the way back if i die.

I suppose it's good for Demo or Drop Zone game mode but the majority of the users of tac insertion are garbage players. Plain in simple.

They'll put it in the middle of the map.
They'll camp right next to where they put their tactical insertion.
Or they put it in places where it's not even necessary or advantageous.
They put it where they are facing a wall or something stupid.

Besides you're just begging someone to wait right next to it til you respawn and blast you.

Its Effective when rushing or playin against a party
Treyarch Did a good Job on Black-Ops by removing it from free-for-all and allowing you to cancel it

I dont see Tactical Inserts very often :/ I personnaly never use them, good old flash is better imo

How does that work if I may ask? I'm not prestiging yet, but as far as I know, the tactical insertion is unlocked at a certain level, and it's a pretty high level compared to the one in mw2. So I don't see how I could unlock it any earlier than when I leveled normally.

Or can you carry over 1 piece of equipment to your next prestige?

I use Tacs in a lot of gamemodes I play. You basically just said it yourself: closer spawn killing and 2nd chances. It defs helps me build up high killstreaks. I use it a lot in Kill Confirmed and especially demo

I use it on my Sniper Class. Either I helps me out a lot, or I get anally owned by a person camping mine.

I use the tactical insertion only for 2nd chance's.
