I can't get out any invitations for my clan, and the statistical data for my account status is all wrong (accumulated weapon kills, etc.), and I can't even send out class changes through the website.

They provide us with premium talk shows such as weapon/map guides and Elite TV, but half of it is useless and the other hardly matches up to anything of worth. Not only that, but for us PS3 users not only do we have to deal with shit like this but we also have to wait a whole-month gap for the DLCs. Oh yeah, and it's been almost 4 months since ELITE and yet no clan ops.

I ask that they give us compensation, but I doubt anything special will happen except for maybe double XP. After all, that's all they have ever done for compensations. But hey, all this is my own personal opinion. I'm wondering what do you guys think. Any pros and cons to the Elite service?

If you plan to buy all MW3 map packs it actually works out cheaper to buy elite premium than buy them separately every 3 months. So yes i would say it's worth it.

You might want to rephrase that to "premium xbox side," because a full monthly gap can make a big difference for some. Nothing can be changed to fix that, of course. Business is business, but business is also dirty (marketing profits). Nothing can change that.

i guess the maps alone make it worth it, but i dont use any of the other shit.
I hate the fact they false advertised the service - not mentioning anywhere about xbox users getting content first as im sure a lot less people would have subscribed.

I wouldn't be surprised. At least IW is smart enough to not do idiotic things to hamper their business. Regarding the timing of the map packs is another thing. By the time most of the map packs come out, many people will - probably - lose interest in the game. This goes especially for PS3 users who have that monthly lag gap.

Firstly the reason the videos get more dislikes is because ps3 players are all butthurt about it. They may act like they dont care but actually they do.

Secondly Why Becuase you are paying for a service did you expect that to overwrite a contract which has been running for several years? No where did it state that it will do so and ps3 users basically "imagined" that they would receive it at the same time, even when it was not advertised to be that way.


Actually it was mentioned in several places that dlc would come to Xbox first e.g the elite FaQ page

Like I said, it could be argued, activison has been glorifying xbox, and not for several years, the whole time, before cod4, cod5 and even black ops came out, xbox version had beta , and even though they don't do that anymore, all of the trailers and gameplay they show before release date are for xbox, ps3 gamers never get to see the gameplay before release date unless someone gets the game early, then moving on, ps3 version of cod4 doesn't have trophies, mw2 comes out.. Early map packs for xbox, then after that we find out that mw2's graphics weren't using ps3's full potential and xbox's were better, they could have been better than xbox's because of the blu-ray and this has been proven, now moving on, in my opinion activision only cares about money and not their customers, why? Simple, everything I have just said above, and older cods were seriously hacked and iw, activison and treyarch are doing nothing to fix them, and yes mw2 is being patched, but the leaderboards will always be hacked.
