Along with Elite’s two map drops and patch 1.09, which adds 5 new prestige levels and in-game support for Clan Operations, PS3 users can expect a free Elite theme released exclusively on the platform.

In addition to Call of Duty Elite's two map packs released with the 1.09 patch for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which gives the users the opportunity to prestige 5 more times along with in-game Clan Ops, the users of Playstation 3 can receive a free Elite theme created exclusively for the PS3.

The players of Modern Warfare 3 on the Playstation 3 with the Elite option that they paid for have been waiting for these new maps and drops for quite a time now. Xbox 360 Elite subscribers received the drops on January 24th, 2012, and ever since then have received yet another drop yesterday (February 21st, 2012). In attempt to reduce the portraying of favoritism (in my opinion), Beachhead Studios is giving a free theme to all Playstation 3 Elite subscribers. On the Facebook page, it's quoted:

Am I reading this correctly? For PS3, from activision?

ps3 users will be out of pocket and get no benefit from elite founder/premium our map macks are over a month away from xbox

myself as well as many others feel let down we bought elite thinking that we would get map packs the same time as xbox and they didnt deny or confirm this untill it was too late so we pretty much wasted our money also how many people will use the "september.. aka november" map dlc when there is a new cod out, xbox theater is better.. hell B.O's theater is better, Xbox's online connection is better and it has nothing to do with psn vs xbox live its a damn poor ported xbox game just like every other

i personally as well as thousands of others will not buy elite again for PS3


we know half of the maps will just be re-skinned from cod 4/mw2

after all we paid the same price we should have the same content.. im i wrong putting it like that?

They get everyting early so we get a theme, wow thanks

Who knows, maybe sooner or later Sony will decide to give us a little treat & give us something big for a change.

You paid for Elite, you didn't pay for a BRAND NEW EXTRA THEME.

If its through elite then we paid for this theme.

actually, when MW2 released, a buddy of mine got the xbox version of it but for some reason got an exclusive MW2 veteran theme for the PS3 so he gave it to me. i still have it on my PS3.

They think a gay theme is going to make us PS3 users feel better after they ripped us off with elite? Stick that theme up your arse Activision.
