You said occasionally, so I'm assuming it doesn't happen everytime.. Therefore you controller has got a problem :p I agree with Assassin :p

I think I managed to figure out what it is a while ago...
When you call in your predator most of the time you go prone. At points on the map you will get "prone blocked" but it's still lets you lie down. This is what I believe causes it.
Would have to test it though.
