Today's video is explaining why the gun game in the call of duty series is going downhill in my opinion. Here is a list of reasons of what happens starting at the top and going down.
--Killstreaks--
1- Killstreak rewards stack, meaning a number 7 killstreak "harrier" can kill people can get a number 9 kill streak "pavelow"
2- Because of this, people will sit in corners with either a shotgun, claymores, anything to reinforce there position to get there killstreaks
3- When a player is killed by this, there anger drives them to go back to attempt a revenge kill in which most cases fails, thus giving the camper the edge.
4- Soon enough the camper gets his kill streaks by either camping and or the lobby just handing it to him "failed attempted revenge kills"
5- The killstreaks do the work for him, thus requiring no effort from the player, so thus he sits there because his killstreaks are his crutch and excuse for his petty gameplay.
--Achievements--
Achievements were designed into the series to give players the incentive to play the game outside of there shell and attempt to play the game to its fullest, boy did this backfire. Most players who play this game are such completionist that they will resort to cheating in order to get achievements. Thus in which tatical insertion has only aided such tryhard cheaters. You are all aware of boosting lobbies in order to get prestieges and achievements. Practicing your cheating ways in private lobbies is one thing. But doing it in public lobbies hurts the community as a whole.
Solution, you take away killstreaks, and make say a free for all game a 25 kill limit. The game is already fucked, but its enough to make it bearable. Give it a like if you agree, thanks for reading.
