I was actually shocked at the results, considering that ADS is supposed to make it more accurate. But it is a shotgun... haha. Best experiment I have done on MW3.

For me:
Striker- hipfire
USAS- hipfire
KSG-a mix of both
SPAS-a mix of both, mostly ADS
Model- Mostly ADS
AA12-hipefire

Same here, only used Spas 12 in MW2 as it was a beast! Best shotgun ever!
ADS on Spas-12 in MW2 but hip fire in MW3.

Ye I tend not to aim down sights with a shotgun on MW3. Hip firing is superior, however if I do aim down sights it is used to snap onto the target but then to continuing hip firing.

Yeah I see a lot of people "quickscope" with their shotguns, makes sense.

I ADSd with my Spas 12 in MW2 because it was pump action and great range. If I missed the shot from long distance I was probably going to get a noob tube up the ass which is why I ADSd to make sure I hit that shot. In close quarters though I'd always hip fire.

Hip fire for me. The shotgun sights are horrible and block alot of your view. I find this especially bad on the USAS 12, hence why I use Steady Aim and hipfire

I don't use Shotguns at all :carling: Seriously just sometimes when people piss me off I equip myself with the striker and steady aim and yeah...

Hipefire FTW lol

ADSing should = half the size of hip firing the gun with steady aim....
