(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have seen people saying it was intentional, I spoke to someone at Activision support about it, they said it's a glitch.

Here is the conversation:

Eric D. Thank you for contacting Activision support, my name is Eric. Can I please begin with the game and console you are contacting us about, your gamertag, and whether you are a Call of Duty: ELITE free or premium subscriber?
Me removed
Eric D. Thank you very much. How can I assist you today?
Me I have seen posts around stating that recently all elite premium members have been upgraded to founders, I was just wondering if this is intentional or a glitch as it dosen't seem very fair to the people who purchased the hardened edition or elite early.
Eric D. That is not intentional; It is an issue that the developers are aware of and are working on a fix for.
Me That means that they have also got the 500 xp clan bonus and clan leaders are taking advantage of this by asking them to leave and then join again for the xp. Will this be punishable?
Eric D. I don't know how issues like that will be handled since this is such a recent problem.
Eric D. It's definitely possible that punishment could be given out but I can't say for sure at this time.
Me Alright, thank you for your time.
Eric D. You're welcome! Was there anything else that I can help you with today?
Me That's all, thanks.
Eric D. All right, then thank you again for contacting Activision Support! Have a nice day!

It is unintentional and a glitch, so make use of it while you can, but beware there is a possibility of punishment for abusing the 500xp glitch, but personally I don't think there will be, at worst just the XP added from people who were unintentionally upgraded being removed.

EXACTLY, people start freaking out that they got upgraded and are scared to be banned. ONLY a chance to people who boosted it, dont worry people unless your boosting you wont be banned

I know what they would be punishing people for, what i meant was if i was premium and signed into my account and saw i was founder i would leave my clan and see if i had XP boost, the people that did it shouldn't be punished for it, they should just take the XP that was given

That wouldn't be fair to the clan, as they didnt ask for it and it would hurt other clan members :p

That's true but in my opinion that's the only form of punishment that should be handed out, how were they to know they just weren't upgraded to founder? The way Activision do things is a bit stupid.

there is no glitch, you can only give 500 xp to a clan ONCE, I left and rejoin my clan and it didnt work.
the worst thing that they can do is derank your account or ban your account from COD ELITE but i doubt it.
