(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have a dialectal question , i know the title is a little misleading so let me explain my question . Would you care if call of duty is rushed? By this i mean if activision wanted to add more to the game , and they push the release date would you care? So would you rather have the game delivered early or for it to be at its absolute best meaning waiting for more than a year? As the old saying goes you can't rush perfection. I for one do get antsy and can't wait for new call of duties , and i do try to not miss any footage . Discuss your opinions.

In my opnion (I'm not a game developer whatsoever) they have plent of time to make a good game but ultimately they end up fucking it up. See MW 2 for example, if they weren't retarted they would've noticed how overpowered Tac knife commando and OMA/Danger Close noobtubes were and fixed them before the game came out.

Same thing with Blops, the gun balance was good but the perk system wasnt balanced at all, they removed Stopping Power (which I think was a mistake) and put some of the most used perks (SoH, Steady Aim, Hardened) in a different tier of Ghost. And I don't even need to talk about Second Chance and blopshots.

In my opnion they fail to test out the game's capacity before release. One thing is to do a close beta and test with employees at the studio, another thing is to see how the majority of people that play this game (12 years monkeys) will use any flaw and get advantages, that's how kids play their games.

No matter what, they can't think people wouldnt use a flaw because they are nice, people WILL use it and after one using it others will too cause they will get pissed of by dying to it.

Really, and truly, there is a 2 year span between call of duty titles. That is because there is the CoDs by Infinity Ward and the CoDs by Treyarch. So for example, it will have been 2 years since the release of Black-Ops, when Black-Ops 2 releases. Thus, technically, B-O 2 could have been in development as soon as B-O was released for all we know.

Not true, because while they released their game at first, they have to spend time listening to community feedback, adding map packs, and making the game better. They probably have about a year and like 3 months to make the game.

More on topic: I would rather the game be completed on time, or released whether it's perfect or not. One of the biggest reason I enjoy CoD is that it will become fun in little time. Either a new map pack, or a new game. Every 3 months, you can expect something, and after a year, a whole new game, by a whole new developer. I want to play the game ASAP instead of waiting longer for it to be perfect. Also, problems that a lot of people have are problems I never notice, so I'd rather the game be rushed and released within a year.
