I bought the game when it came out and im 12th Prestige and I can onestly say ive had 1 MOAB, I play to a KDR of 1.96 so an average player.

I understand it requires some skill to get one but to me all the hype about them makes them overated? just my opinion

They aren't overrated, I really only hear people talking about KD. But I personally believe the true test of skill is your W/L, considering mines over 9 with a 144 win streak. I've gotten MOABs several times, sadly each time I got one the game ended before it could blow up.

Id disagree there, KD is probably the highest test of personal skill, when it comes to W/L its all about your team, one man can only carry a team for so long, (unless its FFA of course)

Naw, anyone can camp and head glitch to get a good KD. I think mines pretty good with a 2.3 KD. And I always carry my team so I think it is a true test of skill.

True, sounds like you only every play against low/average players tbh. The odds completely outweigh the situation, if your by far the best player on your team and you come up against a party of high skilled players even if you manage 30 ish kills chances are your still gonna end up beaten

I rarely play by myself. I haven't played MW3 for 2 months but when I did I played with friends. I mean they would average more kills then deaths normally but they were by no means good players. I played demolition all the time so it's just a matter of planting and defending. The sad thing was I was pretty much the only one planting and defusing so in my opinion I held up my team.

I see, I never thought about it in that light, was thinking TDM, I find that a lot of my losses are down the fact that people play the majority of the game modes like TDM, domination is bad for that, sometimes i do play alone and end up in a team were no one capture points? defeats the object of joining a domination lobby to me

Yup that's the story of my life. I only play COD 4,5, and 6 now with my friends. MW3 is just so bad.

The true skill comes with how well you dashboard and how unnoticed you make it. Chances are if you have a KDR above 2.50 you spend more time signing out than actually playing the game. And I don't thinks MOABS are overrated since I barely see people getting MOABS. When it comes to youtube though then MOABS are definitely overrated.

By overated i mean, a MOAB gives you 6 kills right? for a 12 killstreak you could get a pavelow or AC130 and I would say if used right 90% of the time can acheive 6+ kills. See the MOAB doesnt end the game like it did in MW2, I just expected more from a 24 gun killstreak
