1) a LMG with the same accuracy as the ACR in all stance positions. (PKP buff)
2) increase or decrease what ever it is, the run speed from 80% to 85% so speed becomes alot more usefull and LMG's become alot better but not OP.

So you erroneously want a LMG to be able to be used like an MP7, Akimbo FMGs, USAS with damage or ACR red dot? LMGs are usually barely used in COD games for a reason...

Wanting to see LMGs is one thing but don't play the OP gun card just because LMGs are not ad useful. People complained about big maps being to camp friendly so now most maps are smaller.

The problem is you and most people want to use guns the same way. LMGs are meant for defending areas and long sightlines.

You want LMGs to be on par with AR/SMgs but the reality is LMGs have a lot less uses in general. MW3 does a good job of making 4-5 SMGs really good and useful to use in modt scenarios. There are 4-5 AR that are good for most scenarios. So of course LMGs aren't as useful but that is an inherent disadvantage of LMGs. You're comparing them when they aren't designed to be used in close quarters or run and gun styles. The ability to run fast and rape with UMP or move in and out of cover with a Scar silenced is normally going to be more practical than the benefit of a big clip and high damage with an LMG.

This thread reminds me of when people want Madden or NBA games to force people into picking weakerteams just so they can see more diversity or so tuey can abuse the weaker teams. Use LMGs for what they aren't meant for. Or... use the other 9+ weapons that are good, fill more roles and are actually good to use...

But they carnt be used most of the time causr as you say, there for holding down an area? Yes? Well every time i try i get
1) grenade spammed even with blast shield pro you die (troohy system only stops 2)
2) i get shoot by a guy with a SMG or AR from miles away
3) i get sniped (this is how it should be)
4) a guy spawns behind me and i die

If they did slight buff the LMG they could be more push forward holding down as you moved and advaning your position.

L86 with Grip tears through enemy's. In drop zone, you can easily get 4-6 man sprays with that thing.

Don't understand why they buffed the min damage does not help the gun at all :/

LMGs should not become another AR with more ammo....
LMGs should have little to no damage drop off , on the weaker ones no drop off. On the stronger ones a damage drop off.
Surface penetration maximum at all angles possible with less damage loss at angles.

Why use a LMG when a AR can do the same job and others without the moving cost LMGs have.
Would also change how recoil works on LMGs so it less random deviation. More you have to learn which way the LMG going to kick and reduce your fire to make it settle back down.

That would fix and balance LMGs

I agree with the majority here, you cant make something that weighs twice the amount and that is twice the size of an AR as mobile as one it just wouldnt work, The LMG's if used right can be effective on this game, I have an LMG class set up for maps like dome or hardhat where generally I am going to find large enemy groups especially on domination, I havent really used any of the others only the L86 LSW or whatever its called, but using the grip and silencer its pretty good. Only thing that i struggle on is the perk selection for my LMG class

All four of the things you mention are functions of what players do online and hav nothing to do with LMG damage.

Like plenty of people here are teling you, the LMGs can be effective when used properly. You just want to use them the same way you use SMGs or AR which isn't gonna happen. Unless there is some glitch that allows two bullet kills at wvery range then LMGs will inherently be less used. If you used them on the right maps qnd in the right situations you will be okay.

Look at the M60 in Black Ops. With grip or big ammo you could destroy people but the lower mobility, slow draw time, slow reload made it less attractive. Although, the majority of its users just held down the trigger til the ammo is gone or theu get rushed and beasted lol.

Well I love using a good bit of LMG sometimes..I do just finr without all this buffing...Speed should be increased though :P
