(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well, this is pretty self explanatory, but what do you think about "Accuracy" in MW3? Do you think it's pointless? Do you see some use to it?
Also, what's your personal percentage?

Mine's always around the 20-25% range, I honestly don't see any use in accuracy at all.

On the topic of accuracy, does shooting helicopters and other air support count towards your accuracy percentage?

In other words, can I make my accuracy go up by shooting Ospreys?

Yeah I think so, you are shooting and getting hitmarkers (counting as hits) so I don't see why not.

Yeah it does go up :y:

I though the same thing to myself a while back, and I kept track of my accuracy and sure enough
it went up after 3-4 games of shooting anything in the air :p

"Accuracy" is pointless due to random deviation. If people did not know that is a gameplay mechanic used by the recoil.
Now your looking at me thinking A what the hell is random deviation or B wait recoil is random

If you studied maths you should what random deviation is. Even at the most basic level you should cover it.
Random deviation is when you set a point then it deviates from that point. It does so within a random manor. Patterns can happen but what your going to get is random within that pattern.

You said recoil is random but yea certain guns kick one way or another. That because the game has set a cone of which this random deviation to happen. For certain guns it lowered then others and the amount of the random deviation takes hold is different.

So why do games use this gameplay mechanic to make it easier for players.
With proper true recoil did not burst fire you gun would be hard to control and miss after the first couple of shots. Proper set recoil model also makes it so guns behavior difference to each other.
Shame that learning recoil on a gun is dead it added depth. :( a great shame
If you played enough COD your understand all the guns feel the same..and sort of work the same.

A reason why..high ROF guns are overused with random deviation recoil model. Because it more shots you fire within a short period of time the less deviation. In other words no downside.

Random deviation for hip fire makes sense , random deviation for ADS does not.

IF you played enough shooters that don't have random deviation , your understand why it been added into the game. New players had to learn the guns recoil in order to beat older players of the game. It was quite hard if somebody knows how to use something over you only way to beat them is practice. What do most causal players don't do practice for whatever reason.
In other words it makes it easier and closes the skill gap.

For the record it 18.9% i think or 17.9%
Well done if you spotted that random deviation is in the game. And also well done if you understand what i posted and the effect it has on the game Happy

I'd say anything about 20% is good.
