I was browsing the internet and came accross this:
Call of duty black out is an event being organised for April 20th to get gamers to give up playing mw3 for 24hours.

The main aim?
To make Activision aware that the customers will not stand for The lack of listening to the community and not fixing bugs.

The list of reasons for this are:

  • Lag Compensation
  • Matchmaking options which include the ability to enable, disable local search and base search off the party leader when playing with friends.
  • Changes to the broken [sic] spawn system
  • Full-featured theater mode including volume controls in options
  • Tac insert removed from kill confirmed
  • More hardcore game modes
  • Better Elite playlist options
  • Objective stats on in-game scoreboards
  • Akimbo machine pistol nerf
  • Removal of any assault killstreaks from the support package
  • Removal of deathstreaks
  • Fix LAN settings for competitive events

Now where have we heard this before... oh yeah Anonymous
Did it work... No.
Will this work?
Of course it won't.
My opinion of this, is that it is a pointless effort and is honestly a waste of time, if the message does get out then how many people can we expect, at the maximum a couple hundred which will make no difference whatsoever.

Why am I even posting this?

Just incase any of you that love to moan about mw3 feel that you decide to attempt to make a difference then you can take part in this.
But in all honestly it is a pointless action and will not get the Gamers anywhere

... Except possibly outside

I don't think many people will be willing to do this. None of the points are even that big of a deal. Play the game, if you don't like it, get rid of it.

You talkin to me?
Not a bad idea, but only 1% of the CoD community will participate in it.

i cant really see anything wrong with the game, just alot of things people seem to be crying about. enjoy it its a game. console play doesnt revovle around call of duty when you realise that minor bugs in a game wont really bother you, and you will use them to your advantage

I like to think of lag compensation as a perk for all the scrubs, its called insta - death pro! Death on sight knowing what happened, never happened on your screen. I think the matchmaking and lag compensation fix requests are reasonable. If someone has slow internet connect him with someone else who has slow internet. Obviously this little protest ain't gonna do shit tho, IW will suit themselves as usual!
