I really don't care for this kind of cause. In fact, I don't even stand up for it. Let me try to refute anything here:
Lag Compensation - Not everyone has PERFECT internet. There are people who have slow internet but can't afford to pay for decently fast internet, and IW is just trying something new. Give them props for the effort. They are still ironing things out, I'm sure.
Matchmaking options which include the ability to enable, disable local search and base search off the party leader when playing with friends.
Changes to the broken [sic] spawn system - They're trying to fix it. It's just revolving around quick paced action and not having to run from one side of the map just to find yourself dying then repeating. Okay, you're going to die from bad spawns. Just try to outsmart the enemy in those situations. Go the long way around if you really have to.
Full-featured theater mode including volume controls in options - Okay, sure.
Tac insert removed from kill confirmed - Why? If people are going to tag boost, let them. They're bad players just trying to get some XP. Plus, it harms their KDR. It's a tactic, really. But I sorta stand in the middle on this one. Maybe a tag shouldn't drop within a certain radius of the Tac Insert instead?
More hardcore game modes - There is a cap on what the servers can hold in favor of game modes.. They can expand it if there is enough voices saying that it's what they want.
Better Elite playlist options - Okay, I agree.
Objective stats on in-game scoreboards - Okay.
Akimbo machine pistol nerf - They've tried. They've got further ideas for further patches.
Removal of any assault killstreaks from the support package
Removal of deathstreaks ^ These two annoy me when people complain about it. There is a such thing as bad people. They are just trying to reward them in any way possible. OKAY, we get it. You die from a noob. Respawn and play again. It's not like EVERY game ruins a good killstreak because of this.
Fix LAN settings for competitive events - Okay.
In my final opinion, this won't work. I don't think a gaming event will reach anywhere near the mainstream to inform everyone to stop playing Call of Duty -- even for a day. And remember, IW IS trying. Just give them time to code it, release a patch or make a response to why they can't.
