Why should I have to pay more for the problems they should of fixed previously?

It's crap because even if they did remake cod4/5 they would add new features that would end up making them crap.

They're not going to release anything that people won't buy / play.

You think CoD4 was so great just because you have good memories playing it. In reality it pales in comparison to all the features of MW3. Otherwise you and everyone else would still be playing it.

The hackers dont bother me cause i barely ever run into them. Id definately but it if they updated the graphics without changing anything. Id want them to include mappacks on the game or for free DLC seeing as i dont feel like buying them all over again.

Why should i buy a revamp when i can play the original game?.. all cod4/cod5 needs is a patch.

But knowing activision.. they would make a revamp for the sole purpose of $$$.
They couldn`t care less about the "community".

If you took the time to read, you would have seen that I said the only 2 things that would be added would be the proper security as well as host-migration.

Also, it may pale in comparison to MW3 features, but CoD4 and CoD5 were so great because they were "simple". There were no 11 kill streaks or death streaks or any of that extra stuff. The simplicity is why everyone loved it.

Actually, before Robert Bowling had resigned, someone asked him why won't they make a patch for CoD4 to rid of hackers and he replied by saying that it would not do anything because when CoD4 was made, it was not made with the built in security system like MW3 and Black-Ops have.

Not quite true.. if you think about it, COD had more modded lobbies when the 3.55 CFW came out & most people probably updated to the latest ps3 fimware after a while.

If they send out a patch, the amount of modded lobbies will reduce in my opinion since the only people that can bypass the patch will be the ones with a second ps3 on 3.55.
