If Blast Shield can't protect you from one claymore explosion, what can it do?

Guise, guise. Just use Stalker Pro or Sitrep. I mean, if you'd rather a different third tier perk, use Specialist or what-ho.

Is there even a point to blast shield in this game? all other red perks are miles better.

Blast Shield Pro is way to good already... if they add claymore it gonna be like assassin, immune to everything..

Play drop zone without it. Then play it with it. You'll see its level of usefulness is fine. Just because you die doesn't mean the game needs changed.

Buffing blast shield would be a stupid thing to do.....damage is already done.
It does not fix the main problem
Terms of red perks one which rules the day and the best.

Problem is idea of perks being rock paper scissors
Adding more elements into rock paper scissors also adds problems
For that reason i don't like the idea of perks in the current form.
If perks has less of a effect and less gameplay effect it would be easier to balance them.

Brings up a interesting balance debate. Wonder how used blast is compared to the other red perks.

Does the pro of it really do anything? I notice almost no difference when I'm hit by a flash or stun
