Beachhead Studios has recently updated the add-on Call of Duty: Elite, for the newly released maps Sanctuary and Foundation for the first-person shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, along with a few fixes here and there.

I know I've been revolving my news around Call of Duty a lot lately, so I'm going focus on writing about the Playstation 3 content, PS4 rumors, and even some 360/720 news (i.e. Halo, hardware news/rumors), just thought I'd let you guys know.

Keep in mind that some of these may have been posted before in recent articles posted here on NextGenUpdate, if so, I apologize!

New Features:
  • Drop Zone – Issue 4
  • DLC Support for MP maps Foundation and Sanctuary
  • Updated Leaderboard Tracker design

Career:
  • Improved Private Match support for non-team-based game modes in Recent Matches
  • Fixed a formatting issue when displaying Hardcore matches in Recent Matches
  • Corrected an issue where some heatmap kills appeared outside of the map boundaries on DLC maps
  • Fixed an issue where some Tied matches would show garbled text on the Recent Matches window
  • Hardcore FFA matches will now fully populate the scoreboard in Recent Matches

Connect:
  • Removed “Level” column from Clan Roster

Compete:
  • Numerous fixes to support the change to Bronze badge percentages in Clan Operations
  • Clan Operations now properly appear in the List View section of the Program Guide

Misc.:
  • Fixed an issue linking/unlinking YouTube accounts
  • Updated redirect to new Support page
  • Improved IE8/IE9 support

What do you guys think? Do you feel like they're giving Elite some good updates? Why or why not?

I noticed this. Not a huge issue by any stretch, but at least BeachHead are addressing things.

I don't think any of the changes are worth the 50 dollars I paid for elite to be honest

Still getting all the map for slightly less than you would have if you bought them in packs.

Then you get a semi-functioning website as a bonus.

Or atleast thats how I look at it.

True, but when I bought elite I thought the DLC maps would be good, but in my opinion they've all sucked except black box. At least with buying the packs they can decide if they even want the maps. That's my opinion on the maps, but you have a point. I just wish they put more effort into elite, and more creativity into DLC
