Hey!

I've found a way to be an ELITE Founder Member for both the xBox 360 and PlayStation 3, for this to work you will need to of had the Hardened Edition of Call of Duty: MW3 and NOT already used the Founder Card within the pack and have ELITE Premium for both consoles, all this guide does is give you ELITE Founder status instead of just 'Elite Premium' and gives you the ELITE Founder callsign, etc.

If you have Hardened Edition for the PlayStation 3, you can get ELITE Founder on xBox 360, vice versa. Why? In case you never bought ELITE Premium on the other console in time for the Founder status to be applied.

Note: I'm going to write the guide as if you want to be ELITE Founder on xBox 360 and that you already have it on PlayStation 3, if it's the other way round, just reverse the consoles.

1. Make sure that both your PlayStation 3 username and xBox 360 GT are linked to your ELITE account (then sign out)
   
2. Sign in to ELITE and click 'MY ACCOUNT' in the top-right hand corner and select 'XBox® Live'
   
3. Head over to You must login or register to view this content. and double-check in the top-right hand corner that you've selected 'XBox® Live', get your Founder code from the back of your Founder card inside the PlayStation Hardened Edition pack and enter it.
   

You will now be ELITE Founder on the xBox 360!

Edit: just as further proof, showing I have the hardened edition of Call of Duty: MW3 for PlayStation and a normal copy for the xBox 360. I also have proof that I bought Elite Premium the other week, hence not being able to have Founder status.

I heard straight from Activision support that the founder codes are console Locked. :confused:

Could be a glitch like the get founder through elite by signing out then back in fast. Also it may be Activision, blowing smoke up your ass hoping you will spend more money.

FWIW I always thought they were console locked as well because gamestop asks if you need it for Xbox or PS3.

Im quite sure every one who got the hardened edition didnt have to use the Founder Code, as they would have used the 12Month Elite Code which gave founder Status.

Just thought I'd add some pictures to add further proof, don't really like being called a liar when I post something to help you all out.

And Activision have always been truthful to their customer, right ?

When it first came out, remember when their were server issues? Some people weren't getting their status and they entered the codes as they were impatient.

I entered my code straight away when the game was released and it still gave me Founder and Premium never used the actual Founder Code

Then if you had an xBox 360, a copy of the normal Call of Duty: MW3 and 12-months premium then it'll work for you.

Some people did enter the founder code in panic, when they didn't need to. So for those who didn't (the majority), they'll be able to get Founder status on the opposite console .

I'd rather someone try it and say if it works rather than people doubt it, it worked for me.

TBH would rather sell the code and gain around £20-£30 instead of using it on a opposite console.
