Thing is thats easy if yout host and the game is running on the machine you are booting players from.

We are hours away from fixing the last bug in a piece of software which will give the host of a lobby on ps3 or xbox the ability to kick players or ban them from ever connecting to him/her again.

Im thinking this will just make noobs force host and anyone who kills them or is winning they will just kick them. What do you think?

The tool was intended to give the host the ability to kick players who he/she has a bad connection to making the game more fair but the potential for abuse is too much dont you think?

Also, there is no "emergency" on things when you're pissed off. Also, it would only ban through your connection.

See above, on child's play ... Which they should disallow perks like they did in TDM Express on BO. Makes the games fast and get your money's worth pretty much.

Yeah it would only ban them from connecting to you not from the servers... to be honest we have hit a brick wall anyway we have tried all sorts but it just doesnt seem to want to work for PS3 connections. Works fine on PC?

Anyway people are right I wanted it to kick people I had a bad connection to but I guess they would be having a good connection IE ahead of mine so what happens when i do get into a good connection lobby and someone uses this to kick me lol.

I will update the thread as to whether it works for those who are interested but going on what people have said I think it would make the game worse for little benefit.

this should of had express since day 1, i loved express on bops

I'll look into editing the that f*ck3arc ruby script to show you what you need to do (if the IPs connect to you)
Also, this would be easier if there was dedicated hosting as an option for the PS3. I know the PS3 can't process it, but servers can so there would need to be a verification to see if the server has a stable connection like speedtest.net

There actually is if your in a server and someones got mods and everyone is pissed thats the time to kick the shit out of them im sorry not everyones like you we dont rage kick.

At the moment but it IS possible and it doesnt run on a ps3 anyway its on windows so all we are trying to achieve really is capturing players connected to a host ps3
