I just wonder because it seems that the semi auto phase has died out, COD W@W being the height of the "trigger finger" skillfull era.

What are your thoughs on the death of the trigger finger, and do you miss the old days of the you shoot the gun instead of "hold button till guy dies"

That's one of the reasons why WaW was one of my favorite CoDs. The Gewehr, the SVT, and the M1A1 were some pretty beast guns if you had a good trigger finger. It was awesome that there was so many of the semi-automatic weapons in that game (compared to now).

I have a trigger finger but not 645 times per minute. I'm fast, but the level you're describing is ridiculous and must only be done by the most hardcore trigger fingerbang queers out there who bloat about it

I don't miss this "Trigger Finger Era", because we still have a semi-auto AR in MW3, and that's all we need, really. And if you use the gun right, it could outclass plenty of the others.

Im pretty fast but nothing like someone like xcal.

I can shoot about that fast on PS3, but for some reason I can't shoot fast at all on xbox. It's annoying because I used to get accused of having a modded controller all the time, but that's not really an issue anymore as all of the guns in Mw3 are either automatic or have a maxed out fire rate (other than pistols).

But yeah, WaW was amazing (except for the annoying fire rate limit that you could sometimes hit), and using the FAL in Mw2 was lots of fun.

On ps3 if you have the right touch you can push R1 once and let the vibration of the controller take over and push it down for you

MW2 FAL was my fave gun to play with, put a red dot on it on small maps and acog or maybe thermal on bigger you would rape with a trigger finger.All my mates thought i had a modded controller so i either have a trigger finger or im pretty close to it
