Im not trying to complain about COD or anything but ive been playing a few different games recently and it seems games have gone from the skillful wins to who has a quicker reaction?

I think both are important but what plays the major role in my opinion is the amount of damage the guns involved do.

The only skill you need on COD is connection. I've lost count of how many times I started shotting the guy first and with good aim (my accuracy is above 20% on most CODs) up close and the guy just shot all over the place and put 2 bullets into my knee and I was dead.

Not even connection anymore cause the second your connection goes past X amount then LAG COMPENSATION steeps in....

That's the problem, my connection trolls me, it is low to certain point but not low enough to go past that X point where lag comp comes into play, so I still lag all over the place.

You can only see where true skill shines on LAN games

Games these days are designed to smash the skill ceiling

I would like a game which requires more skill and constant. Good players are not held back at all.

A game should be a mix of both who has a good shot and reaction time.

Accuracy, the right gun in the right situation, prediction, routes, reaction, playing smart. Those are just a few things that you'll need to become a good player. But just with those won't mean you are invincible. There are moments where enemy luck is your downfall.
