Post: New Request to MP design team which could be the most desired updates to Call of Duty

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Infinity Ward recently requested MP design teams to change one of the most requested things in MW3.
These include-

Here is what Infinity Ward suggested:
Community Playlist Updates:
-Desert eagles in One in the chamber and All or nothing
-Change infected weapons
-AoN & OIC separated from gun game
-Add community playlist leaderboards (aon, infected, dropzone)

Weapons Complaints:
-Guns like the M16, Model 1887, PM9, and the MP5 need more love.
-Riot Shield:
--Does not have master and veteran challenges to carry over prestiges
--The hit deflection for the shield, especially on the back.

Other:
-Final Stand give the player putting the player in final stand the full kill? (if a teammate finished the second chance player off).
-Remake shipment/rust for Face Off

In Flames Much?
Lag comp is being tuned and they found the issue
Matchmaking is being fixed that was broken

Shotguns are not being tuned (DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY AT ALL!!!!)
AA12 which needs a buff even if just ammo not being changed due it causing issues with the game engine :/

Final stand issue should have done ages agoooooooo!!!!! it was in black ops for christ sake >_>

Rant over and happy they are fixing it Smile

Trust me, shotguns are GOOD. You just have to do some heavy level grindage to Damage. Once you get there, you'll be pretty satisfied with what it can do.

And as for the AA-12, I find it good except for the ammo reserve count without Scavenger Pro. To do good with that, I recommend Range and Extended Mags. Range will bring the bullet range to around 75% of the SPAS's range without Range. It's not anything amazing, but I find it helps so much more than Damage.

Trust me.....i used shotguns enough to understand them. I know them like the back of my hand and what class works.
Only shotguns which i class as good / semi balance are striker and USAS 12
Rest of the shotguns no reason to use.

Even with damage they are a bit meh
That due to the low damage , pellet count and random pellet spread.

The only two shotguns that need buffing are the AA-12 and the Model. All the other shotguns work excellently.

Meh, I'm still not sure. I've used both the MP5 and M16 all the way to gold, and though they're annoying at times, they're still great guns. I don't use the PM9 much, as it destroys my accuracy, but from what I've heard from a few friends with it gold, it kills faster than all other SMGs.

I guess a good buff for the MP5 would be to fix the kick/recoil. It seems a bit high and often jumps off to the side. A good M16 buff, as you said, would be some sort of damage drop off fix. I guess if they're careful not to "over-buff" them and focus on something other than just damage, then I'd be fine with it.

Yes but if a gun shoots at 1090 (PM-9 ROF) and only 1 or 2 bullets hit, its not very good becuase the fastest killing is based on every bullet hitting and not a single one missing...
