To be completely honest, I haven't bought a single DLC since CoD 4...

Call of Duty 4 - Bought them, loved them and still have them, haha.

World at War - Dad bought all of them, but we never really played the game.

Modern Warfare 2 - Gameshared them.

Black Ops - Never, ever played them, bought them, or gameshared them.

Modern Warfare 3 - Never bought them, played them, or gameshared them.

I just don't enjoy DLC for CoD, no idea why, they're just not interesting to me.

I agree, the only DLC I've bought was the CoD4 map pack. The rest I never bought or just gameshared it off someone. It's pretty ridiculous though when Activision keeps churning out new DLC every month and eventually just a few extra maps costs the exact same as the actual game, and most likely the maps were already created before the game was released and they are just charging extra for them now. But Activision keeps doing it since they know they can get away with it and stupid kids will keep buying them

I agree.

How many DLC packs came out for CoD 4? One. Why? Because the game was as balanced and as perfect as it gets, and the only thing people complained about was team killers (which is completely irrelevant to map packs, but still funny).

I just see no point in them. Yeah, World at War was another really popular 'OG' Call of Duty, and I couldn't give you my honest opinion on their DLC, but it seems like people enjoyed them (more so the game overall, however).

As for MW2 - It was all for h4x, lol. That's it. Gamesharing these because NGU was booming with gameshares and hacks and trying out new things, but got old in the end, I honestly wouldn't go back to it, still a fun game.

Black Ops - 8247987492834 DLC every 2 months. No, just no.

MW3 - This 'calendar' shit is just fishing for money, and as long as they fix the general problems/bugs people will keep buying into their little game, which I quit before the first one even came out.

Black Ops 2 will be the same. Treyarch started the weekly (lol not really) DLC map releases and it's going to please all of the clueless kids and families everywhere.

^^ I COMPLETELY agree. Why do people still interest themselves in things COD related if they don't like it. Seems ridiculous to me, bunch of trolls :carling:

This is next months spec op mission

We also get a 'classified' drop next month. That may or may not be a game mode. If it is then that is incredibly disappointing. That'd be like counting Drop Zone, Infected or Gunplay as drops instead of just new game modes.

Still holding out for guns :( (yeah, I know Rubin said no plans of such, but he also said no plans of Terminal back when MW3 first came out and we found the load screen for it. They can't confirm things like that until the higher ups say so, therefore deny it until you are allowed to talk about it)

So that's all she wrote. Unless they surprise us with some more stuff this is it. A semi-disappointing content year. The maps were pretty good but we got kinda screwed with Face-Off (great maps, but limiting us never makes us happy) and the ever waste of hard drive space that is Spec Ops. Oh well, next year we get maps and zombies. the way it should be.
