How to do it with a friend!

1. Buy a Sentry Gun
2. Pull it out.
3.Have your teammate down you with the sentry out for you to place.
4.When he downs you have him revive you.
5. Once he revived you place your sentry down and you should have no gun in your hand.
6.Now you will have to go buy a gun from the weapon box.

How to do it solo survival! Thanks to: backhandman

get a sentry and claymores, place all but one claymore, then when placing last claymore pull out sentry before your hands come back up. you can then put the sentry down or back away. you'll have no gun in your hands and you get to keep the sentry,

you can keep getting guns for $1000 for claymores expense
