I wanted to test out the matchmaking patch/lag sync patch that was released also wanted to talk about it.

Yes i do know that black ops 2 is close to release but it worth talking about. Mainly as IW has put in place alot of measure to record the data.
Strange feeling how MW3 plays now is how black ops 2 is going to be like on release or could be worse.

Matchmaking appears to be iffy sometimes it pairs me with people from my area other times it japan
One thing i have noticed is that FFA plays alot better and smoother. Less sync issues and being host sort of matters more. Looks like the update has hit FFA now
Dom is well iffy.......being paired with people from all around the world. Get the feeling matchmaking not working right in dom for parties. Solo it working loads better.
Sometimes the sync issues are so bad it unplayable but other times it smooth.

One thing the game tries to smooth out the game still no matter who in the game so you can get some nasty sync issues. I still don't understand why they have put this sort of lag comp into the game it just makes it play worse.

Overall not sure on this patch.....needs more play testing. Along with me looking back over the games hours later. It would be easier to compare if i had a HD PVR what this patch has done.

So does it play better ?

Finding BF3 match much as faster then finding mw3 lobbies Idk why but Battlefield 3 is a bigger game.

People with up to 10 mbps or lower.

And when I join a GW half the time everyone has a 2 or 3 bar. In infected over half the people have 4 bars almost all the time.

Is there a certain thing I am suppose to be reading? I see that your speed is not changing when you upgrade and whatnot but I wasn't talking about that. I was saying people for example that have 10mbps have worse internet than people with 30mbps. Not that one persons speed is faster than the other :p

Bandwidth wise yes but overall no
More at play bandwidth is a tiny part even if you do upgrade it won't help due to other factors like ping.
